Introducing The Galaxy Crew: Building the Future Together

Today, we’re excited to announce The Galaxy Crew: a new content hub and community initiative designed to bring together the explorers, creators, and builders shaping the future of technology.

Why The Galaxy Crew?

At Galaxy, we’ve always believed that great technology is built by great communities. Galaxy and Meteor exist because people came together to solve real problems, share knowledge, and push boundaries.

The Galaxy Crew takes that spirit and amplifies it. It’s our way of creating space for deeper conversations, stronger connections, and more voices in the ecosystem. Whether you’re a seasoned developer, a founder scaling your startup, or someone just beginning to explore what’s possible. There’s a place for you here.

The Three Pillars

The Galaxy Crew is built on four interconnected pillars, each designed to serve the community in different ways:

1. The Galaxy Crew Podcast

Every week, we’ll sit down with developers, founders, engineers, and community leaders to explore the present and help build what comes next.

Our conversations go deep. We talk about Meteor’s evolution and roadmap with the core team. We discuss what it takes to build and scale companies with CTOs and founders. We explore emerging trends in tech, AI, and developer experience. And we amplify community voices — the maintainers, contributors, and creators who make this ecosystem thrive.

The goal is to build a conversation-driven show about technology, leadership, and the future.

The first episode will be published in early February on Spotify and YouTube.

2. The Galaxy Crew Forums

The forums are where the conversation continues. It’s the central hub where developers, creators, and Galaxy users connect, share projects, and build together.

Whether you’re looking to share your latest project, discuss Galaxy deployment strategies, or just connect with other builders, the forums are your space. And if you’re part of one of our programs (like Galaxy Crew Writers), you’ll get access to exclusive areas where deeper collaboration happens.

Join the forums and be part of the community.

3. The Galaxy Crew Writers

This is where things get interesting.

The Galaxy Crew Writers is a curated program for talented writers who want to create strategic, high-quality content about Galaxy’s ecosystem. We’re looking for deep technical articles, tutorials, best practices, and real-world insights that genuinely help developers.

Selected writers earn $60-100 per published article, get exclusive forum badges, access to private community areas, and opportunities to appear on the podcast and YouTube channel.

We’re launching with our Pioneer Cohort: the first group of writers who will help shape how developers discover and understand the Galaxy ecosystem. We’re looking for curious, promising voices who are eager to learn, explore, and share what they discover.

The Pioneer Cohort runs for 3 months, with a minimum of 1 article per month. We provide monthly themes, writing guidelines, and support along the way.

Applications are open now. Ready to be a pioneer?

This Is Just the Beginning

The Galaxy Crew officially launches at Galaxy Expansion (January 26-30, 2026), but the foundation is being laid right now.

Over the coming months, you’ll see the ecosystem come to life. Podcast episodes dropping weekly. Forum discussions growing. Articles from our Pioneer Cohort exploring Meteor and Galaxy in depth. And a community that’s actively shaping the future of how we build for the web.

We’re not building this alone. The Galaxy Crew is, by design, a community-powered initiative. The voices, stories, and knowledge come from you — the developers, founders, and creators who make this ecosystem what it is.
